Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad

Mohammad Ali Jinnah University is chartered by the Government of Sindh a comprehensive institution, authorized to award earned or honorary degrees at all levels, from Associate to Doctorate, in all disciplines, ranging from Accounting to Zoology. The University follows the American system of education. It fulfils all the pre-requisites and degree requirements comparable to any good accredited international university . A number of international academic evaluation agencies have evaluated our degrees as being equal to a degree awarded by any accredited international university. The dream to provide quality education to the youth of Pakistan is gradually being realized with the establishment of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, which has two campuses, one at Karachi and the other at Islamabad.

International Islamic University, Islamabad

The foundation of the University was laid on the first day of the 15th Hijrah Century, Muharram 1, 1401 (November 11, 1980). This landmark of the beginning of the new century symbolizes the aspirations and hopes of the Muslim Ummah for an Islamic renaissance. The desire to produce scholars and practitioners, imbued with Islamic learning, character and personality, and capable to meet the economic, social, political, and intellectual needs of modern times is the aim of this university. The University started as “Islamic University” with only 9 students in its LL.M degree Program and classes being held at the Campus of Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. The University was upgraded, restructured and reconstituted as “International Islamic University” with the promulgation of the International Islamic University Ordinance by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in March 1985.

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology

The COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), which received its Charter from the Federal Government in August 2000, as a Degree Awarding Institute (DAI) in the public sector. The CIIT is now slated for upgradation as a university by the name of ‘Comsats University’ through an Act of the Parliament. Being federally established institute, the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), is a fully flourishing ranking institution of higher learning in the country, with seven functional Campuses in cities of Islamabad, Abbottabad, Lahore, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari.
